Kudlian Software Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) 2000, you can cancel your order for goods ordered online anytime from the moment you place your order up to seven working days from the day after you receive it. All our goods are despatched recorded delivery.

Under these regulations however, there are some items you can't return if you simply change your mind and these include computer software, if you have broken the seal or wrapping or in the case of licences, opened the licence envelope.


  1. No goods may be returned without prior written authorisation and or returns code.

  2. All goods must be returned in a saleable condition. Goods are to be returned via an authorised carrier and you should ensure you get proof of shipping.

  3. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay all the shipping charges.

  4. Proof of purchase will be necessary.

School/FE Software:

  1. During the 28 day approval period, software may be returned at any point, and the invoice cancelled, providing that;

    1. the goods are returned in a satisfactory state for resale

    2. all instances of the software must be removed from any machine it has been installed to.

  2. Kudlian Software may legally ask for proof of this.

  3. After the approval period, you are legally required to pay for the software.

  4. Software may only be returned during the following 62 days if the SOFTWARE is faulty or damaged. You should return the faulty media to your supplier along with evidence of the purchase date. Your original supplier will then arrange for a replacement to be sent.

  5. Official school orders will only be replaced if the software is faulty.

  6. In order to ensure the software is suitable for your needs it is recommended that you order it on approval first or download the demonstration version from our website.


Home User Software

  1. By breaking the software seal on the box, you are accepting the licence conditions.

  2. Software may be returned and refunded for 7 days after purchase only if the software is found to be faulty or has not been opened.

  3. After this period, only software found to be faulty may be returned.

  4. The goods must be returned in a satisfactory state for resale, you may wish to send them by a registered mail system to ensure delivery.

  5. A refund will only be given for 30 days after initial purchase for goods proven to be faulty. After this period a replacement will be sent.

  6. A cost for the new CD or Postage will be made.

  7. No refunds will be given on software that is purchased through download as customers are advised on system prerequisites and to download and trial the software before purchase to ensure functionality and compatibility. In the event that a customer finds software not working after purchase, a refund will only be given at the discretion of Kudlian Software Limited and if Kudlian Software can not rectify the reported issues.


Software returned after fourteen days

  1. Refunds are at the discretion of Kudlian Software Limited.

  2. A full refund, less postage and packing, will be given only through a voucher that can be used against other Kudlian Software products.

  3. Cash refunds will not include postage costs and will incur a 20% handling and restocking charge.


Hardware

  1. Kudlian Software will only accept hardware back for refund if:

  2. 1.the goods have been damaged in transit

  3. 2.or the goods are faulty upon arrival.

  4. Post & Packaging will only be refunded at the discretion of Kudlian Soft.

  5. Refunds will incur a 20% handling and restocking charge.


aGent HD cameras - Warranty is with the manufacturer. After the initial 28 day period, during which a camera, at the discretion of Kudlian Software Limited, will be swapped out if found to be faulty,  cameras have a 2 year return to manufacturer warranty. Proof of purchase date will be required. Whilst every effort will be made to make returns a quick process, cameras returned to manufacturer may take between 14 - 60 days before return to the UK.

Cameras that have been security marked and are found to be faulty through manufacturing defect, cannot be replaced and will be sent to the manufacturer for repair. Return to manufacturer means returning them to China, repair and retruned. This is batch process and may therefore involve a wait to have the camera returned. Please note this a guideline timescale on returns, not a specific one.
